近日，总部位于上海的锦天城律师事务所正式开设长沙办公室，成为该所全球范围内第29家分支机构。

锦天城在一份新闻稿中表示，此次落子长沙，意味着锦天城完成了在中部六省及全国十强省会城市的布局。

同时，近期落子湖南省的还有总部位于深圳的华商律师事务所，该所正式开设永州办公室，成为其在国内正式获批设立的第35家分所。

华商永州办公室由郭文斌律师担任主任，现有专业人员近30人，业务主要涉及高端民商事诉讼、金融、合规、破产清算、政府法律顾问、刑事等领域。

作为华商在湖南省的第二家办公室，华商在一份新闻稿中表示，此举是华商立足大湾区、迈向国际化的战略举措之一。

据了解，永州位于湖南省南部，以蔬菜出口见长，正在打造成为粤港澳大湾区的“菜篮子”。

Law firms open in Hunan, expanding Central China footprint

Shanghai-headquartered AllBright Law Offices has recently opened a new office in Changsha, Hunan, which is the firm’s 29th branch globally.

AllBright addressed in a press release that this move is part of the firm’s strategy to enhance its capability in the top ten provincial capitals in China.

Meanwhile, there is another law firm that has also established a new branch in Hunan Province. Shenzhen-headquartered China Commercial Law Firm has recently opened a new office in Yongzhou, which is the firm’s 35th domestic branch in China.

The new Yongzhou office will be led by partner Guo Wenbin. It has nearly 30 professionals, and will mainly focus on areas of high-end civil and commercial litigation, financing, compliance, insolvency and liquidation, government legal counsel and criminal defense, etc.

As the firm’s second office in Hunan, China Commercial addressed that the move is part of the firm’s strategy to have better development in the Greater Bay Area and internationalization.

Yongzhou is located in the south of Hunan and is famous for growing and exporting vegetables. It aims to become the main vegetable supplier to the GBA area in the future.
