年利达律师事务所近日迎来股权资本市场专家许文嘉律师以合伙人身份加盟，钟晴川律师以特别高级顾问的身份加盟，他们将分别担任该所股权资本市场业务部大中华区主管、新经济团队负责人（大中华区）。

许律师专注于为新经济领域发行人和承销商提供法律服务，在科技、媒体、医疗和生命科学及消费品等多个行业拥有丰富经验。在加入年利达之前，许律师曾在高伟绅律师事务所（Clifford Chance）担任合伙人。

钟律师深耕与企业融资和资本市场领域，擅长处理香港特区和美国注册的首次公开发行以及根据144A规则和S条例的债劵发行，对医疗、消费品、科技和房地产等领域尤其熟悉。在加入年利达之前，钟律师曾任盛德律师事务所（Sidley Austin）合伙人。

同是来自高伟绅的股权资本市场业务专家唐嘉雯、陈澍森律师将作为顾问与共同加入年利达。

据悉，年利达香港办公室目前共有66名律师，29位合伙人，其中包括去年从香港证监会加入的合伙人郑志豪律师。

Links builds Greater China cap markets offering with CC, Sidley partners 

Magic Circle law firm Linklaters has bolstered its Greater China team with the hire of a trio of lawyers from Clifford Chance, led by partner Christine Xu, and partner Oliver Zhong from Sidley Austin.

Xu, who joins as partner and head of Linklaters’ Greater China ECM practice, specializes in advising issuers and underwriters in new economy sectors, including technology, media, healthcare and life sciences, and consumer. Joining her in the move from Clifford Chance are counsel Queenie Tong and Samson Chan.

Zhong initially joins a special senior adviser and new economy team leader for Greater China. He brings expertise in corporate finance and capital markets transactions, with a focus on healthcare, consumer, technology, and real estate sectors.

“Christine, Oliver, Queenie and Samson joining our team is a testament to our commitment to the Chinese markets and aligns seamlessly with our strategic goals,” said Sophie Mathur, Linklaters' Asia head of corporate, in a statement: “Their experience will complement our existing team and will greatly enhance our support for corporate, financial institution, and private equity clients in corporate and capital markets transactions, alongside complex M&A, takeovers, and restructurings involving listed companies.”

The firm reports that its Hong Kong office now has 66 lawyers, including 29 partners. They include Roger Cheng, who joined last year from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission.

Zhong’s departure from Sidley comes at a time when the U.S. firm is looking to scale back its operations in China.
