Having added two new offices (Hangzhou and Nanjing), 13 new partners and two new senior partners in less than 18 months, Gaopeng & Partners is flexing its muscles as one of ALB China’s fastest growing firms in 2010.

The firm, a newcomer to ALB China Fast 10 and ranked fifth this year, has recently acquired one senior partner and eight partners, all in less than a month. At the same time, Shen Min, who joined Gaopeng in 2008, was also promoted to partner for the Shanghai office. Her main practice areas include trust, financing, restructuring, acquisition, and leasing.

Qian Yuxin, the newly joined senior partner in Gaopeng’s Hangzhou office, was previously a partner of Zhejiang Zeda Law Firm. His main practice areas include banking & finance, securities, real estate, maritime affairs, IP and corporate affairs

The eight new partners are Cai Xiang, Cao Li, Xu Xiangyang, Zhang Jinling, Liu Ruxang, Qin Xiaoyan and Lu Zhi. They are all based in Gaopeng’s Nanjing office which is a result of a merger with Jiangsu Hailang Law Firm at the end of 2009. ALB
