Haiwen & Partners has hired Japan expert Wu Ting as a senior counsel in Beijing from East & Concord Partners, where she was a partner.

Wu’s area of focus includes merger and acquisition, foreign direct investment, and intellectual property. She has more than 15 years of experience in Japan-related work, including advising Japanese companies investing or operating in China. During her career, she spent eight years at the Tokyo office of Japan’s largest law firm, Nishimura & Asahi.

After relocating to China, Wu worked at King & Wood Mallesons before moving to East & Concord Partners.
