汉坤律师事务所近日迎来资本市场专家庞烨律师以合伙人身份加盟其纽约办公室，未来将常驻于汉坤上海、香港和纽约三地。

继加入汉坤香港办公室的陶亮、何俊华之后，庞律师成为汉坤在今年1月内招聘的第三位合伙人。

庞律师拥有超过十五年的执业经历，专注于国际资本市场业务领域，能够为企业、投资银行和其他机构提供全方位的法律服务。

加入汉坤之前，庞律师在美国世达律师事务所工作超过十年，担任亚太高级顾问律师。此外，他也曾在美国众达律师事务所工作。

汉坤在一份新闻稿中表示，庞律师的加入将位其资本市场业务注入了新的活力，他在国际资本市场业务领域的专业能力和丰富经验将进一步提升该所在资本市场业务领域为客户提供全方位法律服务的能力。

继去年10月，汉坤吸纳了林邦律师之后，该所纽约办公室目前共拥有三位合伙人。

Han Kun makes capital markets hire from Skadden

PRC law firm Han Kun has bolstered its capital markets practice in New York after hiring seasoned Peter Pang as a partner from Skadden, splitting his time between Shanghai, Hong Kong, and New York City.

Pang becomes the third lateral partner hire made by Han Kun in a matter of days, after it added Alex Tao from Milbank and Melody He from Ashurst.

With over 15 years of experience, Pang focuses on international capital markets and represents corporates, investment banks, and other institutions in a broad spectrum of legal matters. 

Before joining Han Kun, Pang was Asia Pacific counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for more than 10 years. Prior to that, he practiced law at Jones Day since 2010. 

In press release, Han Kun said that the addition of Pang will bring new vitality into the firm’s capital markets practice, and his expertise and wealth of experience in the international capital markets practice will further enhance the firm’s ability to provide a full range of legal services to clients in international capital markets transactions.

Han Kun’s New York office now has a total of three partners, following the firm’s addition of Steve Lin in October last year.
