汤森路透《亚洲法律杂志》(ALB)启动2020 ALB中国知识产权法务15强评选活动，希望通过此次评选呈现十五位顶尖的知识产权法务及他们出色的工作。这将是ALB首次聚焦中国法律市场上顶尖的知识产权法务工作者。此次调研结果将刊登在2020年3月《亚洲法律杂志》中国版。

ALB的调研包括以下三个方面：

1.企业知识产权法务相关负责人提交报名表格；

2.ALB将邀请律师填写一份网上问卷，推荐他们心中具有卓越成就的知识产权法务相关负责人。问卷内容我们会为提交者保密；

3.我们会参考市场和以及同行的评价，若需要，ALB会进行采访。

评选标准：

•知识产权法务相关负责人工作的难度和重要性；

•由知识产权法务相关负责人发起的重大项目；

•业务部门对知识产权法务相关负责人工作的评价；

•担任知识产权法务相关负责人的时长和在知识产权、法律领域的从业经验；

•个人获奖经历

High-level intellectual property with high quality and high efficiency is an important support for the improvement of enterprise innovation capability, outputs of innovation outcomes, and realization of commercial values. Enhancing the awareness of intellectual property protection and promoting the intellectual property transformation and upgrading are fundamental to the development of enterprises.

With the continuous launching of innovation outcomes in the market, the corporate intellectual property sector is becoming more comprehensive and more complex. In-house counsels  specialized in intellectual property are not only proficient in intellectual property related laws, policies and practices, but also are familiar with corporate intellectual property risks and the composition of intellectual assets, and have an in-depth understanding of the strategic corporate IP objectives. They play a very important role in preventing corporate intellectual property risks, maximizing the value of corporate intellectual property, and enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.

Asian Legal Business ("ALB") presents the 2020 ALB China Top 15 IP In-house Counsels in an attempt to showcase the best 15 IP in-house counsels and their outstanding works. This is the first time ALB focuses on the standout IP in-house counsels in the Chinese legal market. The results will be published in ALB China’s March 2020 issue. 

The research will be conducted through the following aspects:

1.The application form submitted by a candidate IP in-house counsel;

2.ALB will invite lawyers to fill out an online questionnaire to recommend IP in-house counsels with outstanding achievements. We will keep the contents of the filled-out questionnaire confidential;

3.ALB will refer to the market and peer evaluations, and will conduct interviews if needed.

Some of the key qualities we are looking for are: 

•The difficulty and importance of the work accomplished by a candidate IP in-house counsels;

•Major projects initiated by a candidate;

•The business department's evaluation of the work accomplished by the candidate;

•The number of years the candidate has served as IP in-house counsel, and his or her practicing experiences in the IP and other legal sectors; and

•Relevant awards the candidate has received.

Only one entry is allowed per organization. The form can be filled in Chinese, English or both.  Please submit the form to TRALB.Ranking@thomsonreuters.com.
