We are now accepting submissions for our final rankings-related feature for the year: The ALB 2012 Private Equity Rankings.
The private equity rankings will be published in our December 2012 issue.
*As this is the last ranking for 2012, ALB is mindful of not contacting clients that have already been spoken to during the rankings process earlier in the year. We will cross-reference any clients submitted with previous submissions, and our database to ensure that those that have already participated, will not be contacted.
THE 2012 ALB PRIVATE EQUITY RANKINGS
What?
We will be identifying and ranking the top private equity players across China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan. We will be featuring one Asia-wide ranking, and separate country-wide tables as well. Our rankings will include domestic and international firms.
How?
ALB will take a comprehensive and rigorous approach to identifying the top firms in the region. Our editorial team will speak to a wide range of lawyers and their clients. All interviews will be off-the-record, confidential, and conducted entirely for research purposes. The linked document details our methodology.

ALB does not require a firm to submit in order to be ranked. A submission is strongly encouraged as it gives us a comprehensive overview of your practice, but firms that do not submit may also be considered for a ranking.
In determining whether or not to consider any firm that does not submit, ALB will combine market and client feedback with our own editorial judgment.
When?
Ranking Process Deadlines Submission Form and Client Details Spreadsheet Due no later than Oct. 5, 2012. We will not accept any submissions received after this time. Submissions must be received in email format, and the submission form and client details spreadsheet are linked to this email. Lawyer Interviews Lawyer interviews to be completed by Oct. 25, 2012. We strongly encourage you to reply promptly to schedule an interview for your firm. Client Interviews Client interviews to be completed by Oct. 25, 2012. We strongly encourage you to inform your clients that we will be reaching out to them.
