礼德上海代表处将由德汇(Dorsey & Whitney)上海代表处前负责人阎军(Jay Yan)领导。阎军拥有纽约州律师执业资格,并在上海工作了15年。来自礼德北京代表处的法律顾问Zack Dong将调至上海。
阎军擅长为国际客户在中国的跨境投资、并购交易、债务重组、企业融资、监管和合规事务、法律诉讼以及外汇控制等方面提供法律专业服务。
礼德在2008年收购香港齐伯礼律所(Richards Butler),从而进入中国市场。
Reed Smith has opened its third office in Asia with its Shanghai launch, earlier this month.
The firm’s new office will be led by Jay Yan, who was formerly head of Dorsey & Whitney’s Shanghai office. Yan, a New York-licensed lawyer fluent in Mandarin, has worked in Shanghai for 15 years. Joining him will be Zack Dong, a counsel from Reed Smith’s Beijing Office.
Yan specialises in advising international clients on cross-border investment, M&A transactions, debt restructuring, corporate financing, regulatory and compliance matters, litigation and foreign exchange control in China.
Reed Smith first entered China in 2008 through the acquisition of Richards Butler Hong Kong.ALB
