近日， 北京亿达律所和铭基律所完成合并。 新律所仍将继续使用亿达的名称。
此次合并将极大增强律所在公司，金融，保险，房地产及海商等方面的业务实力。新律所目前有80多名律师，其中包括20多名合伙人。
据亿达新闻发言人介绍，亿达和铭基之所以能在短时间内顺利完成合并，主要原因是两律所在合并前对双方律所的律师和管理已经非常熟悉。在2008年，亿达还曾协助过铭基的成立。
新闻发言人说，“新律所将整合双方的人力资源，为客户提供更全面更有深度的法律服务。在如今竞争激烈的法律市场，规模大的律所比较有优势。”
Beijing Yida Law Firm (亿达律所) and Mingji Law Office (铭基律所) have joined forces to form a new partnership under the name of Yida. The merger has strengthened and extended the new firm's services into a wider range of practice areas including finance, general corporate, shipping, real estate and insurance.
Led by managing director Li Yafei (李亚飞), Yida currently has about 80 lawyers including about 20 partners. A spokeswoman for Yida said that the merger was accomplished smoothly and successfully as both firms were familiar with each other’s operations. Beijing Yida played a major role in the creation of Mingji Law Office in 2008.
"We will integrate both firm's resources to create a more client-focused practice. We believe that large- scale law firms are better placed to succeed in this very competitive market,” she said.
