近几个月来，孖士打律所连续任命了一系列非合伙人级别的律师。 本月，该律所聘得韩桢为顾问，常华锋为律师，进一步扩大了其北京办公室的规模。
韩桢在矿业，并购及合资领域具有丰富经验， 曾为众多跨国公司及跨国矿业公司提供法律服务。 加入孖士打之前，韩桢曾在国际律所贝克•麦坚时律所就职。
常华锋在加入孖士打之前，是中国商务部负责中国并购审查的反垄断局的副处级案件审查官员。她在审查跨境合并及收购交易以及反垄断案件方面积累了深厚的经验。之前，常华锋曾担任中国外商投资企业投诉中心的主任和商务部投资促进局法律部负责人。
孖士打律师行北京办事处合伙人路维斯表示，常华锋独特的政府工作背景和相关工作经验，给本行带来了明显的优势。
不久前，孖士打曾任命Stuart Miller 和 Bill Amos为律所香港办公室的顾问，San San Peh为新加坡办公室的航运负责人。
Mayer Brown JSM has made a series of new non-partner appointments in recent months within its Asia offices. This month, the firm has hired Zhen Han as a consultant and Nancy Chang as a government relations adviser to boost its Beijing office.
Han has significant experience in both inbound and outbound mining projects, mergers and acquisitions and joint verdure projects in China. She joins the firm from Baker & McKenzie, where she was an associate.
Chang joins the firm from China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) where she was the deputy division chief of the Anti-Monopoly Bureau. Prior to that, Chang worked for the Foreign Direct Investment Administration and Investment Promotion Agency of MOFCOM where she helped to promote Chinese companies investing abroad.
"Her unique blend of commercial legal expertise and experience gained through working in government will give us a significant edge and provide our clients with an enhanced service,” said Ian Lewis, commercial and M&A partner in the firm's Beijing office.
The appointments of Han and Chang follow the hire of aviation finance consultant Stuart Miller and litigation consultant Bill Amos. Both Miller and Amos are based in Hong Kong. Mayer Brown JSM has also appointed San San Peh, formerly partner at Watson Farley & Williams, as head of shipping in its Singapore office last month. ALB
