Magic Circle firm Linklaters is looking to expand its Asian practice by relocating three corporate senior partners to the region.

Matthew Middleditch, one of the firm's global heads of M&A, will be transferred to the Hong Kong office early next year to support the firm's corporate team across Asia.  Middleditch, who will spend most of time in Asia, will also maintain his global responsibilities for the M&A practice.

Two other senior corporate partners with be relocated next year. Peter Goes will move from Amsterdam to Beijing, while Miles Curley will be moved from Madrid to Singapore.

Goes has extensive pan-European M&A experience, particularly in the energy and financial markets sectors. He represented Pang Da Automobile, a leading Chinese carmaker, on its equity investment in Saab earlier this year.

Curley, who joined the firm's Madrid office 15 years ago, will be moving to Singapore next summer. With his extensive international experience, he is expected to help the firm further strengthen its relationship with clients across Southeast Asia. ALB
