Restructuring specialist Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has increased its China presence by opening its Beijing office, which follows earlier openings in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Lei Wang, a former core member of McKinsey & Company’s Beijing Business Technology Office, was appointed the senior director of A&M's Beijing office, while Eric Wang, who has extensive experience in business consulting, engineering and general management, was appointed director.
 
Lei Wang was a consultant at IBM China before joining McKinsey & Company, and has more than decade of experience serving clients in China. He mainly focuses on banking, banking, insurance, energy, high tech, telecommunications, retail, transportation and healthcare. Meanwhile, Eric Wang was a founding partner at the Blue Planet Group before joining A&M, and also counts Corporate Express, Beifa Group and Crea-Union Software among his employers.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in New York, A&M specializes in turnaround and interim management, performance improvement, tax and business advisory services. ALB
