Beijing firm Global Law Office has expanded its presence in South China with the launch of its Shenzhen office.

The Shenzhen office will mainly focus on foreign investment and Hong Kong-PRC transactions.  It currently has two local partners and five associates.

Xing Xiusong, who joined Global in 1992, has been named as the head of the Shenzhen office.  He will split his time between Beijing and Shenzhen.  Xing, a disputes expert was appointed head of the firm’s Shanghai office when it was established in 1999, and spent seven years there.
   
According to the firm, the Shenzhen office shows further proof of its growth, and will soon expand rapidly by bring more local partners on board.ALB
