Chinese firm Jun He appointed 14 lawyers to partnership in March, together with the promotion of three new counsels as part of its talent development plan.

“Their promotion represents the firm’s continued commitment to develop and advance the generation of legal talent,” said Xiao Wei, managing partner of the firm. “Each of the new partners has extensive experience.”

These lawyers cover various practice areas, including corporate and M&A, securities, litigation, banking and finance, IP, real estate, antitrust, project financing, and  labour and infrastructure.

Nine out the 14 new partners are based at the firm’s headquarters in Beijing. These partners include Henry Shi, Marissa Dong, Sun Tao, Feng Rui, Zhang Lei, Yi Yisong, Qu Huiqing, Bai Hongjuan, and Peng Hao, as well as counsels Chen Xiaohua and Cheng Yuan. Other partners namely Zhou Feng, Liu Ning and Ji Guangming are from Shanghai, while Liu Yongzhao and Lin Jiayu are located in Shenzhen.  Counsel Zhu Yan will be based out of Jun He’s Dalian office.
