Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison has welcomed Spencer Park as counsel to its private equity and M&A team in Hong Kong.

Park's practice will focus on private equity, credit, and real estate matters across Asia. Prior to joining Paul Weiss, Park was group general counsel and an executive director at Asia Pacific Land in Hong Kong. In these roles, he oversaw group investments, financings and fundraising activities across China, Japan and Taiwan.

Before Asia Pacific Land, Park was a senior vice-president of real estate finance Asia with Capmark Japan KK and a counsel with Citigroup Principal Investments, Japan. Fluent in English and Japanese, and proficient in Korean and German, he has spent 10 years in the U.S. and Tokyo offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. ALB
