The Hong Kong office of Ashurst has hired finance specialist Dominic Gregory as its newest partner. He joins from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he was a counsel.

Gregory works with clients on a variety of banking and finance matters, such as acquisition finance, asset finance, restructuring and project finance.

Commenting on the hire, Ashurst Asia managing partner Geoffrey Green, said in a statement: “Dominic has significant regional experience and skills which greatly complement those of Ashurst's offices in Asia. His appointment will be a boost to the existing finance practice in Hong Kong and will allow us to capitalise further on the opportunities that are present in the market."
