Nixon Peabody has expanded its China practice with the hire of global business and transactions partner Xueqing Linda Ji in Boston.
Previously at Foley & Lardner, Ji advises U.S. companies operating in China on deal structuring, joint ventures, strategic alliances, regulatory filing, and licensing. She also represents Chinese companies doing business in the U.S. on entry strategies, corporate restructuring, financing, M&A, and securities.
Ji has previously worked at the Department of Treaty and Law at the Ministry of Commerce in China.
“(Ji) provides an additional bridge to connect our clients across two continents,” said Andrew Glincher, CEO and managing partner of Nixon Peabody. “Having an attorney with Linda’s experience right here in our Boston office provides tremendous advantages to our U.S. clients who are considering business opportunities in China, and to our Chinese clients who are pursuing business ventures in the U.S.”
