The Hong Kong office of Ashurst has hired senior litigation partner Angus Ross from Allen & Overy in a move that is expected to bolster the firm’s 17-month old dispute resolution practice.
Ross, who specialises in banking and finance-related disputes, will work alongside dispute resolution head Gareth Hughes.
Prior to Ashurst, Ross joined Allen & Overy’s London office in 1999, before relocating to Hong Kong in 2004.
Ashurst has been steadily building up its Asian practices. Most recently, the firm welcomed finance specialist Dominic Gregory to its Hong Kong office in August.
