French firm Adamas has recently appointed Germain Sinpraseuth as a partner of its Shanghai office.

Joining the firm from Salans, Sinpraseuth has been practicing in China since 2003. His expertise areas include M&As, investments and public-private partnerships in Asia, as well as projects in sectors such as distribution, life sciences, automotive, aeronautics, IT, and energy.

Sinpraseuth speaks Lao, French, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Thai. He will become Adamas’ third partner in Asia, all based in China.

“This arrival enables us to strengthen our brand image as a market leader in a region that is historically linked to our firm, and to consolidate our development in high growth potential sectors,” said Robert Guillaumond, co-founding partner of the firm, in a statement.

“(Germain’s) solid experience, extensive knowledge of Asia, dual culture and relational network built over 10 years of consecutive presence in China, are key assets for the firm,” he added.
