Goodwin Procter has bolstered its presence in Hong Kong with the hire of corporate partner Gloria Liu from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind & Garrison, and the relocation of IP expert Jay Chiu from Los Angeles.

Liu, who was a senior associate at her previous firm, specialises in cross border M&A, private equity and FDI into China. She has advised on several equity investments and take-private transactions in Greater China.

Chiu meanwhile, specialises in patent litigation, and also advises on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters.
