Minter Ellison has bolstered its Greater China practice with the hires of corporate lawyer Jem Li and projects specialist Rebecca Silli as partners at its Beijing and Hong Kong offices respectively.

Silli specialises in projects and infrastructure work, as well as M&A and regional foreign direct investment. She joins Minter Ellison from Gide Loyrette Nouel, where she was managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Li, meanwhile, was the former managing partner of Winston & Strawn’s Beijing office, and focuses on cross-border M&A, private equity and equity capital markets.

Li will begin working with Minter Ellison on Dec. 2, while Silli commences work on Jan. 6.
