Squire Sanders has recruited Dentons corporate lawyer Benjamin Kroymann as a partner and two of his team members at its Shanghai office.

German-qualified Kroymann focuses on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate work, and has been working on Europe-China business transactions for more than a decade now. He also advises on outbound business for Chinese clients, including the listings of several Chinese companies on stock exchanges in Europe, and acquisitions by Chinese companies in Germany, Eastern Europe and Russia.

Kroymann speaks fluent Mandarin, English, French and Spanish. He holds a PhD in PRC corporate law from the University of Tuebingen.

The other members of Korymann’s Germany-China practice team who will be joining Squire Sanders include senior consultant Furong Ren and consultant Leon Xu.

“We’re delighted to have Benjamin and his team join us in Shanghai. With his impressive China outbound experience, his technical knowledge and close connections to European markets, Benjamin will be a formidable asset for our clients in China and across Asia,” said Squire’s Shanghai Managing Partner Dan Roules in a statement.
