中豪律师事务所日前与总部位于美国底特律的霍尼曼律师事务所结盟。是次的联盟有助于两所为四川成都的蓬勃发展的汽车和制造业提供法律咨询服务。
随着中国对西部大开发加快步伐和内陆对外商投资的吸引力加大，中豪律所的成都分所确立的中美跨境法律服务合作伙伴关系将能更好的把握中美贸易带来的商机。
作为中国西南部的工业和制造业基地，重庆是中国主要汽车零件和本土汽车工业的要塞。不少本土的公司是美国汽车业巨头的供应商和商业合作伙伴。
中豪律师集团管委会主任袁小彬表示两所的联盟旨在通过建立双向合作机制，为两国企业抢滩海外市场提供政策法规、项目推介、风险防范等信息及专业的法律服务。就重庆而言，双方的强强联手，将进一步满足本土企业海外拓展时的法律服务需求。
中豪在北京、上海、香港、四川的重庆和成都设有分所，并于本年四月于贵州的贵阳市开设了最新的办事处。
总部位于密西根州州的霍尼曼律所在底特律、兰西、奥克兰、安阿伯和卡拉马苏设有分所。该国际所擅长为汽车、商业地产、替代能源、生物科技和中美跨境投资提供法律服务。
霍尼曼律所对汽车业的法律咨询服务有着丰厚的经验，该所曾为美国通用汽车启动破产法第十一章提供法律服务。霍尼曼律所亦创建了现在被汽车行业和制造业广泛应用的供应链风险管理的模式。
Zhonghao has sealed an alliance with Detroit-headquartered Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn to capture a share of the advisory work emanating from the booming auto and manufacturing industries in Chongqing, Sichuan.
As part of of China’s renewed efforts to develop its Western frontier and the region’s influx of foreign investments, Zhonghao’s Chongqing office has struck an alliance with the American firm to better position itself to capture a share of the legal work arising from increasing levels of Sino-American trade and cross-border transactions.
A bustling industrial and manufacturing base in southwest China, Chongqing is home to the nation’s key car part makers and domestic auto manufacturers, which are suppliers to and partners of U.S. auto giants.
Robin Yuan Xiaobin, managing partner of Zhonghao, said the firms’ partnership will give both the opportunity to advise Chinese and American clients on regulatory issues and policies, facilitate referrals of projects, information sharing pertaining to risk mitigation and legal updates.
Zhonghao has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong in addition to two offices in Sichuan—Chongqing and Chengdu. In April this year, the firm also opened an office in Guiyang, Guizhou province.
Honigman has offices in Michigan, including Detroit, Lansing, Oakland County, Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo. The firm is known for its expertise in advising clients from the auto, commercial real estate, alternative energy and life sciences sectors.
Honigman acted as co-counsel to General Motors in relation to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The firm also spearheaded the supply chain risk management protocol, which is widely used in automobile and manufacturing industries.
