Fulbright & Jaworski has made two recent moves to bolster its Beijing and Hong Kong offices.
The firm has relocated senior associate James Rogers from its London office to Hong Kong; and added associate Matthew Townsend to the arbitration practice in its Beijing office.
Rogers, who joined Fulbright’s London office in 2008, and specializes in arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, construction and litigation, will further strength the firm’s arbitration and disputes capabilities in Asia while serving clients from its Hong Kong and Beijing branches.
He has extensive industry experience advising on energy and construction sector disputes and has handled many commercial, technology, M&A, licensing and joint venture disputes.
Meanwhile, associate Matthew Townsend specializes in PRC-related arbitrations and disputes. A fluent Mandarin speaker, Townsend is an English-qualified lawyer and the co-founder and director of the China Britain Law Institute and a regular contributor to ALB.
Prior to joining Fulbright, Townsend worked as a disputes lawyer in London and Beijing for SJ Berwin and Guangda Law Firm. ALB
