Former Clifford Chance Asia finance partner Bruce Schulberg, who was with the firm’s Beijing branch till recently, will be joining the Singapore office of Hogan Lovells on Jan. 30 this year.
Schulberg will be the latest addition to Hogan Lovells’ ten-partner regional infrastructure and project finance practice. With him on board, the firm plans to boost its projects practice.
A seasoned China hand, he has more than 20 years of partnership experience at various firms, including Jones Day and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
During his career, he has advised financial institutions and sponsors in assorted financing projects and transactions such as the $11 billion Central Asia-China Pipeline project, the $1.2 billion financing of the Karara Iron Ore Project in Australia, and some select "fast track" coal fired power projects in Indonesia.
