Bird & Bird has hired TMT specialist Michelle Chan as a partner in its Hong Kong office.

Chan works with both regional and international clients on TMT transactions, and also advises on data protection and non-contentious intellectual property matters.

Chan joins Bird & Bird from Herbert Smith Freehills, where she headed the firm’s Asia TMT practice.
