Fast-expanding AnJie Law Firm has opened an office in Shanghai, its second in China, and has hired three partners to lead the practice.
Private equity lawyer Cai Hang and commercial litigation specialist Xia Yibin joined from Grandall Law Firm, while private equity expert Gordon Zhu was recruited from Shanghai IDEA Law Firm.
The new office, which opened on Oct. 8, has more than 20 lawyers focusing on M&A, private equity, finance, insurance, TMT, intellectual property, antitrust and dispute resolution.
“AnJie’s Shanghai office brings new opportunities and will surely enhance our strength in some practice areas,” said Dr. Zhan Hao, AnJie’s managing partner, in a statement.
“Our countrywide layout has officially begun.”
AnJie was founded in November 2012 in Beijing, and now comprises around 120 lawyers, including 24 partners.
