Sidley Austin has bolstered its M&A practice in China with the hire of partner Wendy Wenseng Pan from O’Melveny & Myers.

Pan advises both public and private companies on financing, private equity investment, M&A and joint ventures in the biopharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare, IT and TMT sectors.

Pan is currently based in New York, and will eventually relocate to Sidley Austin’s Shanghai office.

Prior to joining Sidley Austin, Pan was a partner at O’Melveny & Myers in Shanghai. Before that, she worked for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she specialised in M&A work.
