China’s Broad & Bright has hired litigation and arbitration specialist Yanjie Lian as a partner in its Shanghai office from Shanghai Xinhua Law Firm, where he was a senior partner.

Lian advises on real estate and construction projects, intellectual property right disputes, and litigation matters. He focuses his practice on entertainment law, advising artists and authors on copyright matters and recently represented Hong Kong based author Bihua Li in a lawsuit against the Shanghai Opera Theatre.

In May last year, Broad & Bright welcomed back partner Zhang Libin to its Beijing office.
