King & Wood Mallesons has expanded its Hong Kong partnership with hire of partners Peter Bullock and Anthony Wan from Pinsent Masons and Chinese firm Llinks Law Offices, respectively.
Bullock, a commercial litigator and technology specialist, focuses on dispute resolution for technology sector clients. He advises on regulatory areas such as cyber risks, data law, FinTech and the digital economy, as well as employment and competition law matters. He also has experience in conducting litigation, arbitration, mediation and investigations.
Wan, an IPO specialist, led the corporate and securities practice at Llinks. With more than ten years of experience advising clients in relation to transactions in Asia, he specialises in corporate finance, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers and equity capital markets.
“To ensure we have the right people to build on our success, we are selectively expanding our practices through lateral hires and internal promotions,” said Hayden Flinn, co-chief executive of the KWM Hong Kong office, in a statement.
The arrivals of Bullock and Wan take KWM’s partner strength in Hong Kong to 26.
