Linklaters has advised Bank of China on the its sale of $500 million green covered bonds, the first of its kind from a Chinese bank, with Clifford Chance hiring the joint lead managers.  

The green bonds are part of Bank of China’s $5 billion medium term note programme due in 2019.

The Clifford Chance team was led by its APAC capital markets head Connie Heng, and London partner Maggie Zhao.
