China’s Zhong Lun Law Firm has hired disputes specialist Jianwei (Jerry) Fang as an equity partner in Shanghai from Global Law Office (GLO).

A former judge, Fang’s expertise lies in cross-board and domestic dispute resolution, compliance and investigations, corporate governance and investment law practice. He has has acted for and on behalf of international and domestic clients in litigation concerning commercial contracts, international trade, IP, construction, competition and trade secrets. 

Fang will work closely with Jun Gao, a regulatory compliance expert and co-head of compliance practice at Zhong Lun.

Fang joined GLO from Davis Polk & Wardwell in 2015. Prior to that, he had a stint with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
