K&L Gates has welcomed corporate partners Simon Poh and Amigo Xie in Shanghai from Linklaters and Llinks Law Offices, respectively. 

Poh, who was the global co-head of the automotive sector team and co-head of the Asian healthcare sector team at Linklaters, advises international corporations and financial institutions on China-related acquisitions and joint ventures. 

He also advises on outbound investments by Chinese companies and SOEs.

Xie rejoins K&L Gates from Llinks Law Offices. He specialises in China-related cross-border M&A and corporate governance matters, and also advises investors, MNCs, middle-market, and public and emerging companies from industries including IT, manufacturing, education, food, entertainment, and e-commerce. K&L Gates recently hired Henry Wang in Beijing, Ian Liao in Shanghai and Stephen Tan in Taipei as it looks to bulk up its Greater China practice.
