DLA Piper has hired William “Skip” Fisher as partner and China head of patent from Hogan Lovells.
Fisher, who will be based in DLA’s Shanghai office, focuses on counseling, licensing and enforcement/litigation in all areas of intellectual property.
He has two decades of experience representing clients from different technologies and industries, including telecommunications, Internet and e-commerce, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, aerospace, automotive and manufacturing.
Fisher also had a previous stint with the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), serving as chair of its IP Practice in China Committee and IP Practice in the Far East Committee.
