Chinese firm Haiwen & Partners has hired Max Hua as a corporate partner in Hong Kong from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he was an associate.
Hua advises on corporate finance transactions, including Hong Kong listings and M&A.
He is the fourth partner to join Haiwen’s Hong Kong office since it opened in March. Last year, the firm hired Lu Guiping from Latham & Watkins and Zuolong Wu from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
