Linklaters has named Hong Kong-based banking and PE partner Nathalie Hobbs as its new Asia managing partner for a four-year term, effective June 1.
A specialist in cross-border leveraged finance and acquisition financing, Hobbs takes over from Marc Harvey, who was appointed in 2013. Harvey was the head of Linklater’s Greater China practice and global litigation and arbitration group.
Hobbs joined Linklaters’ London office in 1991 and was was made partner in 2001. “Her ability to understand clients’ needs and the diverse markets in which we operate in makes her ideally placed to take our Asia business forward,” said firmwide managing partner Gideon Moore in a statement.
