With the legal industry seeing sluggish growth and other headwinds, boutique firms, which specialise in niche practice areas, are expected to weather the storm better than a lot of the full-service corporate/commercial firms. The inaugural ALB Best Boutiques list will highlight firms that are achieving success in their chosen specialism – be it labour law or litigation, technology or tax – and occasionally beating the bigger boys at their own game.
