Llinks Law Offices has hired Patrick Zheng as the head of its dispute resolution practice from Clyde & Co, where he headed that firm’s office in the Chinese capital.
Zheng has more than two decades of experience in cross-border dispute resolution, including international arbitration and litigation. He has appeared in hundreds of cases during his career, including almost 100 cases at foreign venues.
Before joining Clyde, Zheng spent three years with Clifford Chance, where he served as the co-head of the firm’s international arbitration and dispute resolution practice for Greater China.
Llinks feel that his arrival will significantly strengthen the firm’s domestic arbitration and litigation practices. “In the meantime I will help the firm further develop the Llinks’ outbound arbitration practice before bodies such as HKIAC, SIAC, LCIA, SCC and ICC, strengthen its presence in Hong Kong and London, and help the firm establish a leading practice in this area, representing Chinese outbound investors both in ad hoc and ICSID proceedings,” Zheng said in an interview with ALB.
