Perkins Coie has two partners in Beijing from Sheppard Mullin, namely hired Jim M.Zimmerman, who led the office at his previous firm, and Scott J.Palmer.
Zimmerman advises U.S. clients across a range of industries and serves as the Chairman Emeritus of the AmCham China. Meanwhile, Palmer advises clients on inbound China IP enforcement.
“The addition of Jim and Scott is a game-changer for Perkins Coie China and further demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a tier-one China practice and growing our offices here,” said Geoffrey Vance, managing partner of Perkins Coie’s Shanghai office.
Sheppard Mullin has named partner Tony Mou as its new chief representative in Beijing.
