Global Law Offices (GLO) has hired seven new partners, including five at the firm’s Beijing headquarters, and one each in Shanghai and Shenzhen.
The seven new partners are Rongzhen Bao, Degang Ma, Shunjun Liu, Maggie Meng, and Yonghua Zhang (Beijing), Deming Zhao (Shanghai) and Jack Law (Shenzhen).
Bao, who joins from King & Wood Mallesons, is a corporate expert with 20 years of experience representing Chinese and Japanese multinational companies. His practice areas cover general corporate matters, foreign investment, merger & acquisition, labor, compliance and risk control, cybersecurity, real estate and anti-commercial bribery. Prior to joining KWM in 2005, Bao worked with China's Ministry of Justice and the China Law Society.
Zhao used to work at HaoLiWen Partners, which merged with GLO in September last year. His areas of practice include corporate and regulatory compliance, customs and trade compliance, M&A, IP protection, shipping and logistics, insurance, employment and litigation and arbitration.
Ma, who joins from Jingtian & Gongcheng, has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of areas of intellectual property. He has represented Chinese companies in 337 investigation cases in the U.S.
Liu joins from Fangda Partners, Law joins from KWM, Meng joins from an AI company called Mobvoi, and Zhang joins from the National Intellectual Property Administration.
With the new additions, GLO now has 101 partners and counsel in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

七位合伙人分别是：鲍荣振律师（北京）、马德刚律师（北京）、刘淑珺律师（北京）、孟洁律师（北京）、张永华律师（北京），赵德铭律师（上海），罗志强律师（深圳）。
加入环球之前，鲍荣振律师曾在金杜律师事务所执业，在公司法领域执业二十余年，曾为多家中日跨国企业等提供法律服务。鲍荣振律师的主要执业领域为外商投资、并购、劳动、反商业贿赂等合规风控、网络及数据安全、房地产以及其他一般公司法务。2005年加入金杜之前，鲍律师曾就职于中国司法部和中国法学会。
赵德铭律师曾就职于昊理文律师事务所，去年9月环球律师事务所与昊理文律师事务所正式合并。赵律师的执业领域涉及公司及合规、海关与贸易合规、并购、知识产权保护、航运及物流、保险、劳动、诉讼与仲裁等等。
加入环球之前，马德刚律师就职于竞天公诚律师事务所，马律师在知识产权领域具备二十多年的丰富经验。马律师是为数不多具有代理中国企业应对美国337调查案件经验的中国律师之一。
加入环球之前，刘淑珺律师就职于方达律师事务所，罗志强律师就职于金杜律师事务所，孟洁律师就职于出门问问信息科技有限公司，张永华律师曾在国家知识产权局条法司工作。
随着七位新合伙人的加入，环球目前在北京、上海、深圳办公室的合伙人和顾问共计101位。
