Shanghai-headquartered Hui Ye Law Firm has hired six new partners in the city, taking the number of partners in that office to nearly 70. The six new partners are Zhuping Cao, Lang Fu, Zhemin Liu, Wuying Tan, Honggang Sun and Xin Mei.
Cao and Fu join from Bohe Partners, while Sun and Mei were earlier at AnJie Law Firm and MHP Law Firm, respectively. Liu joined from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Public Security, and Tan used to work at Shanghai People’s Procuratorate.
Cao, an administrative law expert with experience representing companies and governments, focuses on dispute resolution and government and public services, including land, resources, urban planning and construction, public security, product quality, food safety and finance.
Fu has more than 20 years of experience in general corporate matters, foreign investments, M&A and dispute resolution. He has represented multinational companies, listed companies and SOEs.
Liu specialises in compliance control, construction projects, and criminal defense. His clients include National Convention & Exhibition Center, Ping An Bank, Bank of China and City Investment Group.
SWISS COOPERATION
Hui Ye recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kellerhals Carrard, the second-largest law firm in Switzerland. The firm specialises in sports law, particularly dispute resolution in international sports.
The firms will jointly look to tap into the potential of China’s growing football market. Additionally, they will cooperate on intellectual property, advising Swiss companies seeking legal advice on patents and trademarks.

刘喆敏律师的执业领域为企业合规风控、建设工程以及刑事辩护。刘律师先后为国家会展中心、平安银行、中国银行、城投集团等国家机关和特大型企业提供日常或专项法律服务。
