Morrison & Foerster has hired three senior lawyers Ke Huang, Ruomu Li, and Lucy Lu as partners in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, respectively, further strengthening its local corporate and finance practices.
Huang’s practice focuses on capital markets transactions across variety of sectors. He started his legal career as an associate at Allen & Overy in 2008, and then worked with O’Melveny & Myers as a counsel, before joining MoFo. Prior to his legal career, Huang was a telecom engineer at Lucent Technologies and AT&T.
“Hong Kong continues to be one of the leading global financial centres and a buoyant IPO market. Huang’s broad capital markets experience across both equity and debt will strengthen both our local capital markets and corporate practices, and will help us continue to meet our clients’ needs in these key areas,” said Timothy Blakely, managing partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Li specializes in M&A, strategic investments, private equity transactions, and venture capital investments with focus on the technology and life sciences sectors. She represents strategic and financial investors, public and private companies in both the U.S. and China.
She was an associate at the San Francisco office of Fenwick & West prior to joining Davis Polk & Wardwell (Hong Kong). Before relocating to Shanghai in May 2019, Li re-joined as a counsel in Fenwick & West.
Lu’s area of focus includes cross-border M&A, foreign direct investment, private equity, corporate restructuring, PRC real estate, employment and general corporate matters. Before joining MoFo, Lu was a national partner at the Beijing office of Dechert.
“We are seeing greater demand for support from our Chinese clients as they become more active overseas. We are also seeing major growth in demand both on inbound and outbound transactions involving China. Adding Li and Lu to our China offices is an important step as we continue to enhance our corporate offering in mainland China,” said Paul McKenzie, managing partner of the firm’s Beijing and Shanghai offices.

美国美富律师事务所迎来黄克、李若木和卢琼三位律所作为合伙人加盟，分别加入美富香港办事处、上海办事处和北京办事处，将加强美富中国资本市场业务并拓展美富中国公司业务。
黄克律师的业务领域涵盖资本市场的各类交易。2008年，黄律师作为律师在安理国际律师事务所开启执业生涯，接着以顾问身份转至美迈斯律师事务所，之后加入美富。作为律师执业之前，黄律师曾分别在朗讯科技公司和AT&T就职。

李若木律师的业务主要涵盖公司并购、战略性投资、私募股权交易和风险投资业务，并专注于科技和生命科学行业。李律师还代表战略和财务投资人、上市和非上市公司处理在中美两国进行的交易。
早先，李律师在泛伟律师事务所旧金山办公室执业，继而加入美国达维律师事务所香港办公室。2014年2月，李律师以顾问身份重新加入泛伟律师事务所旧金山办公室，并于2019年5月加入美富上海办公室。
卢琼律师的主要执业领域包括跨国并购、外商直接投资、私募股权、企业重组、房地产、监管、劳动法以及其他一般公司业务。加入美富之前，卢律师在美国德杰律师事务所北京办公室作为合伙人执业。
