Two K&L Gates lawyers have joined White & Case as partners in Beijing: Energy specialist Grace Fan-Delatour, who was a partner, and cross-border transactional lawyer Shaohui Jiang, who was a counsel at his previous firm.

Fan-Delatour advises clients in the oil and gas and mining and metals sectors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project development and financing and private equity investments. Prior to K&L Gates, she worked as an associate in the Shanghai and Beijing offices of Vinson & Elkins.

Jiang advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, project development and finance, leveraged finance and private equity investments. He has experience advising on cross-border transactions involving the United States, China and Africa.

White & Case has been steadily growing its Greater China offering this year. In February, it hired a four-member private equity team from Ropes & Gray, led by partner Daniel Yeh, in Hong Kong.  All four joined their new firm as partners, with Yeh being named head of private equity for Asia-Pacific.
