Linklaters’ Shanghai Free Trade Zone joint operation partner, Zhao Sheng Law Firm, has hired Vivian Cao and Colette Pan as partners in Beijing and Shanghai offices, respectively, from Fangda Partners. 

Cao specialises in international and domestic competition law. Prior to working at Fangda, she had stints at Freshfields, MWE China and IDG Asia. 

Pan specialises in China-facing financial institution, tech and fintech M&A as well as financial regulations. Pan had spent more than ten years at Linklaters in China before joining Fangda in 2018. 

Zhao Sheng’s  Beijing office was established in May this year with an initial focus on competition. Cao’s addition will further enhance the firm’s capabilities.
