微软公司近日迎来严旋律师以全球副总裁身份加入，他未来将全面负责其大中华区公共及法律事务。加入微软前，严律师曾任翰宇国际律师事务所上海代表处合伙人及中国区国际公共政策业务部门负责人。他此前曾任市场监测及数据分析公司尼尔森大中华区总裁，后于2018年7月加入翰宇，但在10个月后又重返了公司法务职位。

严旋律师在跨行业公司治理方面有丰富经验。根据此前的报道，翰宇在中美贸易关系最为紧张的时刻启用了严律师，希望更好帮助中国企业进入全球市场，并为国际客户到中国投资提供服务。

严旋此次接任了微软原大中华区法务负责人陈实的工作：2018年8月，陈实离开微软，以特别战略顾问身份加盟机器视觉与大数据公司扩博智能，服务于传统行业的数字化转型。

SPB Shanghai partner moves back in-house role 10 months

Microsoft has hired Yan Xuan in Shanghai as a vice-president in charge of corporate, external, and legal affairs in Greater China from Squire Patton Boggs, where he spent just 10 months as partner and head of the international public policy practice. 

Prior to SPB, Yan was president of Greater China of market monitoring and data analysis company Nielsen. 

Familiar with corporate governance, and having legal and government relations experience in both China and the U.S., Yan was hired by SPB to better help Chinese clients entering into global markets, and vice versa.

At Microsoft, Yan replaces David S. Chen, who left last August for a strategic counsel role at local technology company Clobotics.
