鸿鹄律师事务所近日迎来许开辰律师以合伙人身份加盟其北京办公室，加入鸿鹄前，许律师曾任私募股权机构斑马资本的董事总经理兼总法律顾问。

根据鸿鹄的一份新闻稿，许律师的主要执业领域为风险投资和私募股权，其跨领域的从业背景使他在VC/PE交易涉及的各方面都具备第一手经验。他在斑马资本负责基金设立和投资交易事宜，曾领导协助一家市场领先的连锁便利店企业研发出一套高度自动化的合同审阅系统。此前他还曾创办获得过风险投资的互联网法律服务平台法斗士，并在欧华律师事务所担任合伙人，领导其中国VC/PE业务。

鸿鹄大中华区管理合伙人储开泰表示：“随着中国再度将重心转移到创新和科技领域，预计未来中国仍将是紧随美国之后的全球第二大风险投资市场。许律师的加入对于鸿鹄在中国区的VC/PE团队堪称画龙点睛。”

Birds boosts VC/PE practice in Beijing with hire of PE firm GC

Bird & Bird has hired venture capital and private equity expert Xu Kaichen as a partner in its Beijing office from PE firm Zebra Global Capital, where he was the managing director and general counsel.

A former head of DLA Piper's VC/PE practice in China, Xu later founded Fadoushi.com, an Internet platform for legal services funded by VC investment. 

At Zebra, Xu was responsible for fund formation and investment transactions, also developing an automated contract review system for a leading convenience store chain. 

"With China's renewed focus on innovation and technology, it is expected that it will continue to be the second largest VC market behind the US. Xu is an ideal addition to our VC/PE team in China," said Ted Chwu, Bird & Bird’s managing partner for Greater China, in a statement.
