德恒律师事务所近日正式开设了香港办公室，并与香港钟氏律师事务所展开联营。这是德恒在全球范围内的第43家办公室，另根据香港律师会网站资料，德恒也成为了第33家开设香港办公室的内地律师事务所。

根据德恒的一份新闻稿，德恒首批派驻香港办公室的三位律师分别为北京办公室管理合伙人李忠，以及合伙人毕秀丽及李妍。另有包括钟永贤律师在内的4位钟氏律师事务所合伙人为客户提供基于中国香港法的相关法律服务。

未来香港办公室将以商事业务为核心，聚焦上市合规、跨境并购、债券基金、银行融资、争议解决等领域。近年来德恒曾协助中国重汽、中国农业银行、中国铁建等企业完成港股上市，钟氏律师事务所此前也曾协助数十家企业完成港交所上市相关业务。

香港办公室是落实服务粤港澳大湾区发展整体战略，支持32家内地分支机构开展涉港业务，以及支持"一带一路"建设的重要布局，德恒在新闻稿中评论道。

Deheng opens new office in HK, becoming the 33rd PRC firm venturing into HK market

Beijing-headquartered DeHeng Law Offices has launched a new office in Hong Kong, which is the firm’s forty-third branch globally, and began joint operation with local firm Chungs Lawyers. According to the Law Society of Hong Kong’s statistics, Deheng is the thirty-third PRC law firm stepping into the Hong Kong legal market.

According to the firm’s press release, it has sent its Beijing office managing partner Li Zhong and two other Beijing partners Bi Xiuli and Li Yan to provide legal services under PRC laws in the new office. Meanwhile Ernest Chung and other three partners from Chungs Lawyers will advise under Hong Kong laws.

The new office will focus on listing compliance, cross border M&A, bond and fund, financing, as well as dispute resolution. Deheng in recent years has assisted a bunch of Chinese companies, including SINOTRUK, Agricultural Bank of China and China Railway Construction, on their Hong Kong IPOs, while Chungs Lawyers also having advised dozens of companies related to Hong Kong listings.

The Hong Kong office will further enhance Deheng’s influence in the Greater Bay Area and along the Belt & Road regions, the firm stated.
