中伦律师事务所近日迎来赵斌以高级顾问身份加盟其北京办公室。此前，赵斌在美国高通公司担任全球高级副总裁兼中国区总法，在近十年时间里，负责领导高通中国法律和政府事务团队。
在高通公司任职期间，赵斌除全面负责涉及公司法务、政府关系、知识产权、合规经营与行政管理等公司事务外，他还曾参与一系列重要并购交易、协助政府调查和审计、主导重大争议解决案件，并积极参与立法协作，以及与立法及监管机构的沟通。
赵斌于1997年贝克麦坚时国际律师事务所开启法律生涯，此后分别供职于欧华律师事务所、美富律师事务所、英特尔中国，并曾担任索尼中国副总裁兼总法律顾问。诸多经历使他熟悉于半导体与芯片、通信技术、消费电子、汽车、石油天然气、医药等众多行业。
中伦在一份新闻稿中表示，赵斌的加盟，将进一步增强中伦在反垄断和竞争法、投资并购和公司治理、合规和反腐败等国际业务方面的专业实力。

这是中伦今年的第一起重要横向招聘。本周，中伦同时晋升了31位新合伙人。
Zhong Lun makes major hire by adding Qualcomm China’s ex-GC
Zhong Lun Law Firm has hired Zhao Bin as special counsel in its Beijing office. Before joining the firm, Zhao worked as Qualcomm’s senior vice president in charge of Qualcomm’s China legal and government affairs for nearly a decade.
During his time with Qualcomm China, Zhao oversaw the handling of all legal, government relationships, intellectual property, compliance as well as administration related affairs. He has also played a role in many important M&A deals, supported government investigations and audits, led a series of high-profile dispute resolution cases, and participated in lobbying for legislation and communicating with regulators.
Zhao started his legal career back in 1997 with Baker McKenzie. He also has experience with DLA Piper, Morrison & Foerster, Intel China, and Sony China. He’s familiar with many industries including semiconductors, telecommunication, consumer electronics, automobile, energy, and medicine.
The hire of Zhao will boost Zhong Lun’s global business in the areas of antitrust and competition, M&A and corporate governance, compliance, and anti-corruption, says the firm in one press release.
“Zhong Lun is a leading PRC law firm I have worked together with for many years on challenging and complex legal matters. I am now thrilled to join a large group of very talented and hard-working lawyers to support clients with important cross-border cases and projects,” Zhao says.
This is Zhong Lun’s first major lateral hire in 2022. The firm also made a new round of promotion of 31 new partners this week.
