方达律师事务所近日迎来资本市场律师陈婕（左）、合规律师邓云卫加盟其上海办公室。此前，陈律师曾执业于嘉源律师事务所上海分所，邓律师则在万豪酒店担任副总裁兼高级律师。

陈律师具有近20年的执业经验，专注于资本市场、企业投融资、并购重组业务，客户涉及生命科学与健康、新材料、矿业、物流、电子设备等多个行业。

邓律师执业领域为数据隐私和网络安全合规。在万豪酒店工作期间，他曾处理了多起重要的数据和网络安全事件。邓律师还曾于2010年至2015年执业于伟凯律师事务所纽约和上海办公室。

这是方达上海办公室今年官宣的首批合伙人级别引入。

Fangda adds capital markets and compliance experts in Shanghai

Fangda Partners has hired capital market expert Jane Chen (L) and compliance veteran Sherman Deng as partners in its Shanghai office. Prior to joining Fangda, Chen practiced at Jia Yuan Law Offices while Chen was VP and senior counsel at Marriott International.

Chen has nearly 20 years of experience in capital markets, corporate investment and finance, and M&A and restructuring. Her client group involves a wide range of industries including life science and health, new materials, mineral, logistics, and electric equipment.

Deng’s practice areas include data privacy and cyber security. During his stay in Marriott, he has dealt with multiple important data and cyber security-related legal affairs. Deng had practiced at the New York and Shanghai offices of White & Case from 2010 to 2015.

This is the first batch of partner-level hire by Fangda’s Shanghai office this year.
