史密夫斐尔律师事务所近日迎来银行和融资业务专家茅悦蕾律师以合伙人身份回归其香港办公室。她曾于2017年至2020年间就职于史密夫斐尔。此次回归前，茅律师在宝维斯律师事务所担任顾问。

茅律师为国际、亚洲，尤其是中国客户提供银团贷款、跨境融资、破产业务和复杂项目融资方面的建议。

茅律师职业生涯始于君合律师事务所上海办公室，随后于2010年加入高伟绅律师事务所并工作至2017年。

茅律师回归后，史密夫斐尔香港办公室共有20位合伙人，其中包括于2021年12月回归该所的石明杰律师。

HSF strengthens China finance practice with hire from Paul, Weiss

Herbert Smith Freehills has welcomed back banking and finance expert Ellen Mao as a partner in the Hong Kong office from Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, where she was a counsel.

Mao advises international, Asian, and particularly Chinese clients on syndicated lending, cross-border financing, insolvency work and complex project financing.

Mao started her career with JunHe in Shanghai, before joining Clifford Chance in 2010. She moved to Paul Weiss in 2020.

With Mao’s addition, HSF’s Hong Kong office now has 20 partners, including Rachael Shek, another former alumna who returned in December 2021.
